We live in a world of illusion. Covered by Maya, the deluding energy of the Supreme Lord the living beings in this world create a dream and think that it is real. This dream takes place on a number of different levels simultaneously. The first one is that we are not the body, but we live and act as though that were the case. The actual reality shows up at the time of death when we are forced out of the body to an uncertain future (unless you have been properly preparing for death, which is highly recommended. The next illusion that we cling to is what is going on in this world. It’s run by the demonic, for their own purposes, and that is becoming more chillingly clear every day (more about that soon). There are some that see through it (moi) and this is a blog that addresses that reality from every perspective.
People are so attached to their illusion they will fight you if you try to wake them up to reality. It’s so amazing. That is one of the themes of the movie “The Matrix.” Here’s my favorite quote from that film:
“The Matrix is a system, and that system is our enemy. When you are inside it, you look around and what do you see? Businessmen, Teachers, Lawyers, Carpenters. The very kinds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are part of that system and that makes them our enemies. You have to understand that most of these people are not ready to be ‘unplugged.’ And many are so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to defend it.”
Well, some may fight against the illusion, but some, like Neo, want to wake up. That’s what we are doing here—waking people up from both illusions. It’s not just enough to realize that the world is run by the demonic who are hell bent on enslaving people. Ok, you know that, so what are you going to do about it? How are you going to insure that you never are born into another nightmare like the one that is about to unfold? How are you going to end all of the illusions?

There is only one problem: we are born into this world. And if we solve that one problem all of the other problems that go along with it are automatically taken care of. So stay tuned. We are going to look at the underbelly of this beast, but we are going to use that knowledge as an incentive to finish up our sentence in this prison house once and for all, and never, ever, take birth here again. I'm going to begin my activity here by posting some things that were on the Spiritual Economics blog last year, but were removed from there so that I could focus more on the spiritual side. Let's call that blog the carrot, and this one we'll refer to as The Stick. Check out that side too. It's not good to dwell on the dark side all of the time.
